Microbiology Tech

This role involves performing plate reading for various culture types, including microscopic identification of bacteria and yeast, and documenting all steps within the LIS. The position also requires conducting rapid testing such as PCR and culture setups, as well as maintaining stock and quality control for media and test kits. Staff are expected to uphold CAP and Joint Commission accreditation standards and maintain phlebotomy competencies.
