About this role
This role is part of Intersect’s Microgrid Engineering team, focused on designing and validating electrical protection schemes for large, complex microgrid systems that support critical datacenter loads. The position works closely with internal engineering teams, equipment suppliers, utilities, and operations partners to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performance protection configurations. The engineer contributes to advancing Intersect’s mission of accelerating the clean energy transition by ensuring protection systems operate effectively under demanding grid-connected and islanded conditions. The role also supports field commissioning, lifecycle reliability, and post-event analysis for continuous improvement.
