About this role

SIXGEN is seeking a mid-level Threat Hunter / Purple Team Operator to identify threats that evade existing detection methods and develop hunting hypotheses. This role combines remote threat hunting with on-site purple team coordination to support red team engagements and strengthen defensive capabilities. The position requires translating adversary tradecraft into defensive guidance and validating detection methods in real-time.

Responsibilities

Conduct hypothesis-driven threat hunts across endpoints, networks, and cloud telemetry
Analyze logs and alerts for indicators of compromise and adversary TTPs
Partner with blue teams to detect and validate controls against red team TTPs
