Milieu Specialist II

The Milieu Specialist II is a frontline role at the Behavioral Health Crisis Center responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment for individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral health crises. This position involves monitoring the therapeutic milieu, providing direct patient care and support, implementing crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver comprehensive care. The role also includes facilitating therapeutic activities, documenting patient progress, conducting safety checks, and serving as a key member of the treatment team.
