About this role

The Military Material Systems Coatings Sub-Section Manager leads a team responsible for ensuring material systems are appropriately integrated into product designs and hardware, and for facilitating testing and manufacture of coupons and test hardware for materials TRL/MRL maturation. This people-leadership role involves managing, developing, and growing a team of coatings and materials engineers while driving program execution, manufacturing readiness, and the application of GE Aerospace FLIGHT DECK principles across the sub-section's portfolio.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of coatings and materials engineers
Facilitate execution of coatings technical readiness programs
Partner with manufacturing teams to mature processes and transition technologies
