About this role

As a MineStar Onboard Specialist at Caterpillar Inc., you will serve as the on-site, hands-on expert for Cat® MineStar™ Command hauling systems at the Côté Gold Mine in Ontario. Your role involves ensuring autonomous haulage hardware performs at its best by guiding, troubleshooting, and collaborating with customer teams, dealers, and engineering to optimize system performance and adoption. This position focuses on managing hardware health, integrating complex electronic systems, and coaching customer personnel to drive safety and productivity in remote mining environments.

Responsibilities

Own onboard hardware health and availability for autonomous haulage fleets
Manage machine and system integration ensuring components work together
Troubleshoot field issues and document findings with cross-functional teams
Analyze autonomy data to validate accuracy and support root cause solving
Coach customer personnel and internal teammates on equipment best practices
