Mining Engineer

This role involves leading and directing the Dragline planning team to deliver safe and efficient mine plans and schedules for a leading open cut coal operation in Queensland’s Bowen Basin. The position requires developing optimized Dragline designs, mentoring team members, and collaborating closely with operations and technical teams to ensure practical and achievable plans. Reporting to the Mine Planning Superintendent, the successful candidate will contribute to short to medium-term planning while driving continuous improvement and dig-to-design compliance.
