Ames Community School District
The Mitchell Elementary 1st Shift Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in assigned school rooms, the cafeteria, and preparing the building for evening and weekend activities. The role includes building lock-up/security duties, using technology for work orders and communication, and performing physical tasks such as lifting items up to 50 lbs. and snow removal. This is a full-time, year-round position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 5:30am to 2:00pm.
