About this role

The Mixed Modality (Oligonucleotide) Principal Scientist will evaluate and facilitate the transfer of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes from development laboratories to pilot plant operations, ensuring scalability and readiness for early-phase cGMP manufacturing. This role involves overseeing process transfers, scaling up synthesis and purification methods, and leading familiarization executions to support the Lilly Medicine Foundry's operational readiness. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues, implement new technologies, and ensure scientific excellence in manufacturing advancements.

Responsibilities

Oversee transfer of oligonucleotide processes from development to manufacturing
Assess and scale-up synthesis and purification methods for clinical supply
Lead process-related investigations and support CAPAs with cross-functional teams
