About this role

The MK1-Avionics Harness Design Engineer II role involves designing electrical and mechanical harnesses for the Mk1 Vehicle, including creating wiring diagrams, 3D routed harness data, and installation drawings. This position supports the Lunar Permanence business unit in developing Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products for sustainable spaceflight infrastructure. The engineer will select harness components, provide technical guidance, and support assembly and testing processes.

Responsibilities

Design electrical harnesses for power distribution, RF, and high-speed data signals
Create wiring diagrams and 3D routed harness data files using CAD software
Produce harness detail and installation drawings from 3D harness data sets

Skills

Qualifications

B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Computer Engineering, or related technical subject area
