About this role

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks in a mobile environment. This role involves conducting DOT inspections, identifying mechanical issues, and independently managing parts inventory while adhering to strict safety regulations. Successful candidates will utilize advanced diagnostic tools and work with high autonomy to ensure fleet vehicle reliability.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on heavy-duty trucks
Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, and hydraulic systems under supervision
Manage parts inventory and reconcile equipment on company service vehicles
Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and vehicle functionality
Maintain accurate documentation and completion of all DOT regulatory forms
