Mobile Responder

The Mobile Responder primarily responds to crisis intervention calls across various settings, including schools, homes, and emergency rooms, to conduct emergency mental health screenings and determine appropriate dispositions for individuals in severe distress. The role aims to lessen trauma and prevent placement in more restrictive levels of care while offering follow-up support through phone calls or home visits. Additionally, the position involves supporting unlicensed staff with risk assessments and initiating involuntary examinations under the Baker Act and Marchman Act when necessary.
