About this role

The Model Based Systems Engineer at Turion is responsible for the development and integration of systems within the ground segment of spacecraft operations, such as command and telemetry management and constellation health monitoring. This role requires collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to define requirements, track risks, and lead system verification, ensuring all software requirements are met. The engineer will also manage project milestones, conduct technical reviews, and shape the overall systems engineering process at Turion, with a focus on fault detection and risk mitigation strategies. An active Secret or TS/SCI clearance is required, along with significant experience in systems engineering and spacecraft missions.
