Modeling Supervisor

The Modeling Supervisor leads the technical operations for the California Department of Public Health's influenza modeling and forecasting network, expanding a California-based forecasting ensemble to all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. This role involves supervising the Influenza Modeler, translating strategic direction into an executable technical program, and serving as the primary technical point of contact with the CDC-coordinated network. The position ensures the scientific and operational integrity of the national-scale forecasting pipeline through research, collaboration, and open-source code practices.
