About this role

The Molten Salt Engineer will support experimental testing operations for the Blanket System team, executing standard operating procedures, conducting materials testing, and maintaining quality controls. As experience grows, the role expands to experimental design, test cell construction, and leading projects in materials corrosion and blanket health monitoring.

Responsibilities

Perform corrosion testing of novel materials in molten salts
Design and build new test cells for molten salt R&D
Write and modify SOPs for safe handling of hazardous chemicals
