Monitor Technician/Telemetry Technician

The Monitor Technician/Telemetry Technician observes electrocardiogram (ECG) monitors and closed-circuit television (CCTV) to alert nurses and physicians to changes in a patient's heart rate rhythm and arrhythmias. This role requires the ability to operate cardiac monitors and EKG machines while recognizing normal and abnormal arrhythmias, including myocardial infarction. The position demands strong communication skills and adherence to written and oral instructions to ensure effective patient monitoring.
