Monitoring Technician

The Monitoring Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides immediate notification to RNs and clinicians regarding any changes in cardiac rhythms. This role involves measuring and interpreting heart rhythms, managing telemetry equipment, and maintaining clear communication with clinical staff to ensure patient safety. The position requires adherence to hospital policies, HIPAA compliance, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues with monitors.
