About this role

Abbott is seeking multi-skilled Support Engineers to join the Operations Group in Witney, supporting high-volume manufacturing of biosensors and glucose monitoring systems. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, monitoring performance, and assisting the Projects Team with equipment changes in a clean room environment. Candidates will work within a rotating 4-on-4-off day or night shift pattern to maintain process yields and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on automated equipment and processes
Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and faults
Monitor equipment performance to maintain process yields
Assist the Projects Team in implementing equipment changes
Maintain high standards of record keeping per quality systems
