This role serves as a technical resource within the Newbuild organization, supporting the design, development, and execution of new cruise ship construction projects. The position provides expertise in naval architecture for newbuilds, revitalizations, and dry docks, ensuring technical soundness through data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities include reviewing design documents, coordinating with shipyards and stakeholders, and analyzing design changes to optimize safety, cost, and operational efficiency.

Support design and review of naval architecture scope for newbuild and capital projects
Coordinate with shipyards and stakeholders to resolve technical hull and stability issues
Analyze design changes and technical alternatives to assess impact on safety and operations

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Marine Technology, Ship Design, or related engineering fieldMaster's Degree preferredPMP or project management certification preferredMembership or affiliation with SNAME, RINA, IMarEST, or similar professional maritime organization preferred
