NC Mountains Forest Recovery Director

The NC Mountains Forest Recovery Director will lead a ten-year, term-funded program delivering forest restoration across the North Carolina mountains in collaboration with the US Forest Service. The position oversees a multi-million dollar annual budget, manages a large professional and seasonal crew, and provides administrative and programmatic leadership to ensure delivery of restoration outcomes and grant reporting. The role reports to the Southern Blue Ridge Program Director and contributes to regional forestry strategy and partnership networks. The position is based in Asheville with hybrid work options.
