About this role

The Nester / Programmer is responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC cutting programs using SigmaNEST software to support production requirements. The role focuses on maximizing material utilization, improving machine efficiency, and ensuring accurate manufacturing data is generated for various CNC cutting processes. The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Planning, Production, and Purchasing teams to ensure manufacturing schedules are achieved while maintaining quality and cost targets.

Responsibilities

Create and optimize nesting programs using SigmaNEST software
Generate CNC programs for laser, plasma, punch, and profile cutting machines
Maximize material yield and minimize scrap through efficient nesting strategies
