The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Physician Assistant (PA) Hospitalist provides assessment, management, and outcome evaluation for patients in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. The role supports patient and family education, serves as a liaison with UofL Physicians staff, and participates in clinical research. The provider is expected to demonstrate advanced medical and nursing knowledge, clinical competency, sound clinical judgment, professional communication, and maintain timely documentation and ongoing professional development.
