About this role

This role partners with the Women's Health Leadership team to provide educational support, including needs assessments and project work in process improvement, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice. The NPD practitioner serves as a learning facilitator, change agent, and mentor, overseeing onboarding, competency management, and professional role development. The position is a hybrid role combining 24 hours of Clinical Education with a 12-hour Staff RN role in the Women's Health Pavilion Medical Surgical Unit.

Responsibilities

Develop individualized professional development plans and conduct needs assessments
Design and implement educational programs based on evidence-based practice
Manage staff competency and facilitate clinical education initiatives

Skills

Qualifications

Master's Degree: NursingRN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of NursingClinical certification that correlates with unit specialty population, ie. RNC-OB; RNC-MNN; RN-BC, MEDSURG-BCNeonatal Resuscitation Program instructorCurrent member of Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses
