A Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Surgical at Cook Children’s Prosper Orthopedics provides advanced practice pediatric care across outpatient and inpatient settings. The clinician works collaboratively with physicians, managing an independent panel of patients under physician supervision and supporting clinic, call, and hospital coverage as needed. The position requires advanced clinical education and state licensure to deliver pediatric surgical care and participate in perioperative activities.

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse)
- Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Texas Registered Nurse License
- Current Texas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License
- Current Texas Physician Assistant License
- PA-C
- RNFA (Preferred)
- Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Acute Care Certification (when assigned)
