About this role
The Experienced Nuclear Mechanical Engineer will join the Transmutation Reactor Unit at Transmutex to support development of the START subcritical transmutation reactor. The role focuses on the design, analysis, and qualification of critical reactor components such as fuel assemblies, handling equipment, core structures, and pressure vessels. The engineer will work within a multidisciplinary environment and interface with suppliers and manufacturers to bring first-of-a-kind components into series production. This position is based in Vernier, Geneva within an innovative startup reinventing nuclear energy and long-lived waste transmutation.
