The Nuclear Medicine Technologist at The Valley Hospital operates Gamma camera and PET/CT scanners, administers radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders, and produces computer-generated diagnostic and therapeutic scans. The technologist works under the general supervision of the Supervisor in a hospital imaging environment and ensures proper archiving and completion of exams.
