A Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Geisinger Medical Center performs nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures, administering radioactive materials, nonionizing radiation, and adjunctive medications for diagnostic, therapeutic, radiotheranostics, or research purposes. The role prepares and documents radiation use, acquires and analyzes imaging and non-imaging data, and works under the supervision of an authorized user and licensed practitioner to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapies.
