Responsibilities

Ensures implementation of center policies aligns with health center goals.
Builds positive relationships, inspires others to perform at a higher level, prepares career development plans and retains an accountable workforce.
Ensures a continuing program of formal and informal education for Medical Assistant/Nursing Staff.
Conducts monthly nursing in-services as needed.
Provides on-site support for Nursing/Medical Assistant staff with changes in work practices, new initiatives, policy changes, etc.

Skills

Qualifications

RN/BSN from recognized program required. MSN preferred.High School Graduate (or GED equivalent) required.California State Board RN License required.Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training required.Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as an RN in hospital setting or at an educational institution required.
