About this role

The Nurse Extern student participates in clinical work under the direction of an RN, assisting in the individualized care of patients to achieve their highest level of wellness. This 4-week Winter Extern Program offers the opportunity to work with a preceptor and shadow in additional departments to discover where your passion for nursing is leading you. The role is open to unlicensed RN students who have completed at least two semesters of RN clinicals and are graduating in 2027.

Responsibilities

Participate in clinical work under the direction of an RN
Assist in individualized patient care to achieve highest level of wellness
Perform designated clinical procedures and nonclinical support tasks
