Nurse Practitioner - APMS

A Nurse Practitioner in the Advanced Practice Medical Services department provides comprehensive, autonomous clinical care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department, focusing on lower acuity cases suitable for a primary care setting. Reporting to the Program Operational Director, the role involves diagnosing, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and collaborating with the interprofessional team to support patient and family well-being. The position also includes providing leadership, mentoring staff and students, and utilizing evidence-based research to drive practice innovations and quality improvements.
