Obstetrics(OB) Technician

The Obstetrics(OB) Technician provides intra-operative and post-delivery care for patients in the LDRP/OR suites, assisting with C-Sections and PPTLs under the direction of Registered Nurses. The role involves maintaining sterile fields, assisting surgeons during procedures, and performing essential patient care tasks such as coaching during deliveries and providing post-delivery support. Additionally, the technician serves as the unit phlebotomist, collecting blood specimens and performing infant hearing tests in compliance with Illinois law.
