Occupational Communication Specialist

The Occupational Communication Specialist provides pre-placement, job placement, training, and long-term employment support to Minnesotans with hearing loss who may also experience other barriers to employment. This role involves cultivating competitive job opportunities, adapting communication styles, and advocating for job accommodations while maintaining a caseload of 12-14 individuals. The position requires advanced American Sign Language proficiency and a deep understanding of Deaf Culture to effectively support persons served in achieving their personal and professional goals.
