Occupational Therapist Assistant - Acute Care

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist in the practice of occupational therapy. This role involves developing deficits, activities of daily living, work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance, endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength. The assistant prepares equipment for treatment and helps patients exceed their functional goals while building strong relationships with patients, clinicians, and the community.
