This off-shift position is located in Plant 3, Whitehall Casting Operation, and inspects cored wax patterns and/or cores using nondestructive testing to discover detrimental discontinuities, inclusions, and other irregularities below the surfaces. The role involves conducting quality audits and disposing of items according to engineering specifications. Additionally, the position performs visual inspections on all DS and SC wax clusters prior to dipping them into the monoshell slurry, sorting out those requiring rework.
