About this role

The Oncology Infusion Pharmacist ensures the safe, accurate, and effective preparation, verification, and dispensing of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care medications for oncology patients. This role involves collaborating with oncologists, nurses, and pharmacy technicians to optimize patient outcomes and maintain regulatory compliance in an ambulatory infusion setting. The position requires expertise in sterile compounding, hazardous drug handling, and evidence-based cancer care protocols.

Responsibilities

Review and verify chemotherapy and immunotherapy medication orders for safety and accuracy
Prepare and dispense oncology medications in compliance with USP and regulatory standards
Collaborate with oncology teams to optimize treatment plans and resolve medication issues
