Council for Court Excellence (CCE) is a Washington, D.C.–based nonprofit that conducts research, education, and advocacy to make the District’s legal systems more just, equitable, and accountable. CCE convenes courts, policymakers, practitioners, and community members to study civil, criminal, and youth justice issues, develop practical reform recommendations, and run public-facing programs like jury and justice education. Through reports, stakeholder convenings, and training, it seeks to improve policy and practice in D.C. courts and increase public understanding and trust in the justice system.
