Operating Engineer

The Operating Engineer supports the Engineering Manager in the operation and maintenance of the National Geographic Society facilities, including the Museum of Exploration. This role is responsible for managing temperature, lighting, power, and other facility requirements while overseeing preventive maintenance and system operations. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of building systems and involves monitoring mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems during assigned shifts.
