About this role

This role involves operating a Combined Cycle Power Station by managing plant start-up, loading, shutdown, and monitoring via the DCS control room. The incumbent is responsible for troubleshooting process conditions, maintaining equipment isolation protocols, ensuring safety compliance, and communicating with regulatory authorities. Responsibilities also include implementing modern O&M practices, utilizing CMMS for activity recording, and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Operate and control the complete plant and systems startup, loading, and shutdown
Monitor plant process conditions and troubleshoot abnormalities from the control room
Manage equipment isolation and normalization according to Permit to Work System
Record operating data using CMMS and implement Quality Management Systems
Communicate with regulatory authorities regarding station operational matters
