Ophthalmic Assistant

This role involves performing preliminary examinations and evaluations of patients with ocular complaints, diseases, or disorders by executing technical tests utilized exclusively in ophthalmology. The incumbent provides information to and consults with ophthalmologists to facilitate the diagnosis and eventual treatment of patients. The position may also require accessing and administering medications within the scope of practice and according to State Law.
