Ophthalmic Assistant

The Ophthalmic Assistant works closely with the ophthalmologist to perform basic, advanced, and complex preliminary tests and measurements of the eyes. This role involves preparing patients for examinations, administering medications, assisting with in-office procedures, and maintaining exam room cleanliness and accuracy. The position also includes scheduling appointments, acting as a scribe, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical principles.
