Ophthalmic Scribe

The Ophthalmic Scribe assists the physician with documentation of the patient's electronic medical record by accompanying them into exam rooms to transcribe patient history and examinations. Under the physician's direction, the scribe documents impressions, plans, test results, prescriptions, and procedures performed by medical personnel. The role may also involve answering triage calls and entering patient data as needed.
