Ophthalmic Scribe

The Ophthalmic Scribe is a valuable member of the eye care team, primarily responsible for assisting ophthalmologists and optometrists in documenting patient encounters and ensuring accurate medical records. The role involves real-time transcription and administrative support during clinical visits, including preparing examination rooms and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Scribes may also assist with patient care as directed by the physician and perform duties of an Ophthalmic Assistant or Technician.
