About this role

An Optical Engineer on the Starlink Space Lasers team develops and deploys free-space optical communication systems and imaging products for the Starlink satellite constellation. The role focuses on optical system design, validation, and operation to support mission-critical applications such as star tracking and laser communication terminals. Engineers work across disciplines to define architectures, lead testing and field experiments, and ensure manufacturable, high-reliability designs.
