About this role

A senior engineer in the Connectivity Optical Systems Group at Marvell leads the development of leading-edge Digital Signal Processing (DSP) solutions for coherent and IMDD optical communications. The role involves building optical evaluation platforms, creating simulation models, conducting post-silicon performance verification, and providing technical guidance to customers. Candidates will focus on system verification, chip debugging, and expanding capabilities in electro-optical component modeling.

Responsibilities

Conduct system verification tests of Coherent and IMDD DSPs with state-of-the-art optical engines.
Compose DSP simulation models of electro-optical components and correlate them with measurements.
Perform experiment-based chip debugging to resolve complex customer issues.
Provide technical guidance to customers on tuning optical platforms for best-in-class performance.
Build simulation models and validate performance using offline DSP processing and automated testing.
