Optician

The Optician works closely with patients and the Optometrist to assist in selecting eyeglasses, measuring, fitting lenses, and providing advice on eyewear products based on written prescriptions. The role involves maintaining an organized environment, adjusting and repairing eyewear, and collaborating with the clinic team to ensure patient needs are met. The position also includes administrative tasks such as insurance billing, processing orders, and maintaining patient records in the electronic health record system.
