Organ Placement Specialist I

The Organ Placement Specialist I provides 24-hour coordination of renal and extra-renal organ allocation, donor/recipient matching, and transportation assistance to OPTN members. This role ensures timely, accurate, and complete coordination of all case activities while maintaining compliance with OPTN and UNOS policies in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. The specialist is responsible for documenting all activities, resolving discrepancies, and supporting transplant candidate waiting list maintenance.
