Paraeducator – Functional Core Program 1:1

The Paraeducator in the Functional Core Program works 1:1 with students with identified disabilities who have primary learning needs in functional life skills. Under the direction of a certificated teacher, the paraeducator assists students with instructional, non-instructional, and health care needs, including feeding, toileting, catheterization, and lifting. The role also involves supporting students with behavior problems, implementing behavior plans, and maintaining accurate records to meet IEP goals.
