Paramedic

The Paramedic provides basic and advanced emergency medical care to patients in an acute care setting, responsible for illness and injury assessment, patient monitoring, clinical intervention, and direct patient care under supervision. This role supports department and facility operations while working collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care. The position involves performing assessments, interventions, and documentation across the lifespan, as well as assisting with patient admissions, discharges, and invasive procedures. The Paramedic also monitors and interprets EKG and telemetry strips, identifies changes in patient condition, and adheres to safety and infection control standards.
