Paramedic

The Paramedic role is responsible for directing patient care while operating non-emergency and/or emergency modalities as a rescue unit in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The EMT-P leads, directs, and participates in the delivery of basic and advanced life support in pre-hospital or facility settings, providing direction to other crew members when serving as attendant-in-charge. This position involves delivering emergency medical care, completing required reports, and maintaining the ambulance and equipment in proper working order.
