Paramedic

The Paramedic role is responsible for the direction of patient care while operating non-emergency and/or emergency modalities as a rescue unit in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The EMT-P leads, directs, and participates in the delivery of basic and advanced life support in pre-hospital or facility situations, providing direction to other crew members when serving as attendant-in-charge. This position involves delivering emergency medical care to patients as indicated by medical control or patient care protocols.
